Taizé Community Common Prayer Sunday September 19, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. In-person and via Zoom

· Join us for a unique style of Christian worship developed in1940 by Brother Roger Schütz, founding member of the ecumenical monastic Taizé community of Burgundy, France, The Taizé community’s purpose is service to young people and promotion of ecumenism

· The Taizé style of worship is characterized by the singing of distinctive and much-repeated prayer chants during candlelit prayer services. The repetition is designed to help meditation and prayer. The bulletin for the Taizé service is available here.

· The service is free. All are welcome.

If you plan to join us in-person, please wear a mask and social distance.

To join us via Zoom, please email The Reverend Nancy Threadgill at revnancy-stmarks@atlanticbbn.net in advance of the service to obtain the meeting ID and password. Login will begin at 5:30 p.m. Please be patient as it may take a few minutes to admit everyone.

Holy Eucharist Sundays at 10:00a.m. In-person and via Zoom

Join us at 10:00a.m for Holy Eucharist in-person or via Zoom. Most services are Rite II. The fourth Sunday of each month is Rite I. If you plan to join us in-person, please wear a mask and social distance.
