St. Mark’s 2026 Annual Pledge Campaign
December 12, 2025
“Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7
As we near the end of 2025, we can look back at the past year with gratitude. St. Mark’s Episcopal Church is closing out another year of faithful ministry.
Because of your gifts, we have continued to do important work. We have welcomed new people and families to the congregation. We have maintained our ministries –weekly worship, the choir, pet food ministry, and others. We have shared celebrations and sorrows. We have strengthened our bond with St. Francis in the Fields congregation in Somerset, as we jointly seek to discern our shared futures and leadership.
As we work to be good stewards, St. Mark’s Church will embody the mission that the Vestry adopted in 2020: Sharing Christ’s love unconditionally through transformational worship and service.
During Advent, the Vestry reaches out to each member of St. Mark’s Church parish,
asking you to make a commitment to support the Annual Pledge Campaign. Please consider making a pledge to the 2026 Annual Pledge drive. Your generosity is stewardship – an act of faith in the future of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and all of us who are its members. While we have been going through a lengthy transition in leadership, we are confident about our future.
In addition to cash donations, we encourage bigger gifts of stocks or mature IRAs. We can connect you with someone who will facilitate your giving these investments.
Your past financial support has been crucial to the work of our church. Now, as we begin this year’s Annual Pledge campaign, we hope we can count on you again. Please prayerfully consider increasing your annual pledge. Your increased support will allow us to continue to sustain and grow our ministries, extend our outreach, and share God’s love with even more people.
Included with this mailing is a pledge card for the 2026 Annual Pledge Campaign. Pledge cards also are available through the church office (call (814) 535-6797 or email: stmarks@atlanticbbn.net) and the Pledge Card 2026 link on our website. We ask that you return your pledge card by the end of December. If you have any questions, please call the Church Office and a member of the Stewardship Committee will contact you.
In Christ,
Rev. Nancy Threadgill, Rector, and the Vestry of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church
